An Interaction with Miss Suman Chellani

A young talented Sindhi girl from Gujarat who is now currently a model, actor and professionally an anchor had an interaction with the team Perspective. She is Ms. Suman Chellani who has recently won the title of Senorita Miss India Intercontinental 2018 on 11th September 2018. And now she is really very happy to represent India in Philippines as Miss Intercontinental in January 2019.

It is said that you enjoy the taste of food when you have faced ups and downs during the preparation of it. Suman Chellani has also spents 10 years of hardwork and so now she has reached here. She has started her journey by participating in MMU Josh in 2008-09 which is beauty contest in Ahmedabad. And then in 2011 she has won the title of Miss Gujarat 2011.

In 2017 she took part in Yama Fasino Miss Diva Universe and became city Finalist and represented our city Ahmedabad in Mumbai in presence of Lara Dutta. Ms. Suman always thinks that even after achieving you can improve more to achieve a greater success and so she decided to train herself under Ms. Ritika Ramtri from The TIARA Training Studio who had also trained Manushi Chilla for Miss World. Her Fitness Coach was Master Raashid Shaikh. Suman found errors in oneself and took the training of Ramp walk, diet, Nutrition, how one should speak, how one should represent oneself at national or international level. And then finally she took part in Miss India Intercontinental 2018 and has won the title with the huge support of her parents, government and the common people.

She has recently broke two records:-
i. She is the first girl from Gujarat who will represent India for Miss Intercontinental.
ii. She is the first girl from Sindhi Community who will represent India for Miss Intercontinental.

Ms. Suman further adds about Miss Intercontinental which is a grand beauty pageant since 47 years. Its headquarter is in Germany and Panama. Before 21 years this title was won by Lara Dutta in 1997. While the first woman who won the Miss Intercontinental from India was Elizabeth Anita Reddi in 1978. Its been 47 years to this crowne and only two times the India has won this title. But now Ms. Suman is very well ready to get and win this pageant.

It is said by Swami Vivekanand that the one who walks on a right part are only pierced by the thorns. Ms. Suman Chellani has also faced many hurdles in her life after crossing which she has reached at this stage. She didn’t had money for educating herself so her parents had sacrificed and her father had sold his shop to get the money. She has tried and failed in many pageants. She firmly believes that ‘Every failing stone has a lesson’ and she says that “Every falling step has a lesson in my life”.

She is now currently working very hard to earn the title of Miss Intercontinental. She has joint four classes like Gym, Question- answer and Ramp walk, Meditation and Current Affairs.

She would love to see herself winning international awards in Anchoring and represent India at international level because she believes that very few India anchor has achieved International Awards.

Being a Model, Actor and an Anchor she has tried to give a message to the young girls who are looking their future in modelling industry. She says that Beauty Pageant is Beauty with Brain. She further adds that you must be very confident, well maintained and should be consistent about your focus. One should have a good body. Here in this industry body is worshipped like a book. And for keeping the body fit she advises to have a proper diet, daily exercise and good mindset. The seed takes the time to turn into fruit but the fruit is much sweeter when you work more harder in caring of the plant. All the girls can definitely achieve their dreams.
